The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for building, maintaining and deploying reports, dashboards, and data models using multiple data sources.
Build new reports and dashboards based on user requirements.
Design SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and data integration needs.
Understand the data models and schemas from a variety of systems and databases.
Become an expert resource in the functionality and capabilities of SQL Server Reporting Services and PowerBI.
Troubleshoot reporting problems by identifying, coordinating, and helping resolve issues.
Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports to enhance and improve their use.
Collaborate with technical and operational team members to identify and solve data quality issues.
Contribute to development of business intelligence and data warehousing capabilities.
Perform other duties related to those listed above.

Knowledge and Skills Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with database programming tools, reporting tools, software and other applications including Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Analysis Services and PowerBI is a plus.
Experience in and understanding of academic environment is a plus.
Familiarity with transactional systems used in higher education (such as Colleague, Slate, Raiser's Edge, PowerFAIDS, and Dayforce) is helpful.
Time management skills necessary to keep on-task with multiple project assignments.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
