Associate VP Foundations, Corporate and Community Giving

Position Highlights:

The AVP Foundations, Corporate and Community is one of three AVP positions that form the senior team in the Foundation. The position is responsible for maximizing philanthropic revenues from foundations, corporations, events and third party community fundraisers. 

 

The AVP FCC will be a highly experienced development professional, with a track record of growing fundraising programs. This position will bring an entrepreneurial approach to creating new partnerships, locally and nationally to support Moffitt's institutional priorities and lead a team to achieve ambitious fiscal year goals. The AVP FCC will demonstrate business acumen and the ability to develop and execute effective fundraising strategies, and tactical plans.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Foundation Relations
  • Lead Corporate Fundraising
  • Lead Fundraising Events and Community efforts
  • Team Development

 

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in a leadership position in Development, with a focus on Foundations, and Corporate fundraising.
  • At least 5 years experience leading multiple fundraising programs in large complex organization in sectors such as Higher Ed, Healthcare or other major non-profit sectiors.
  • A proven track record of meeting multi-million dollar annual goals in relevant program areas
  • A track record of personally advancing and closing significant philanthropic gifts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Keen business acumen, with ability to track progress, course correct and maintain momentum in fundraising activities through an annual cycle

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fundraising, Marketing/PR, Commutations, English, Non-profit Management, or other related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in a leadership position in Development, with a focus on Foundations, and Corporate fundraising.
  • At least 5 years experience leading multiple fundraising programs in large complex organization in sectors such as Higher Ed, Healthcare or other major non-profit sectiors.
