Job DescriptionSummary of Position
The First Year Coordinator will support student support and retention efforts focused on first-year students of the College of Liberal Arts (COLA) at the University of New Hampshire. Under the general direction of the Associate Dean and in partnership with the College Advising and Academic Success Director, this role will manage and deliver of several sections of first-year seminar courses (COLA 401A and COLA 401T) across the college.
Campus Location Durham
Experience working with students in a university setting
Computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, data bases
Organizational and analytical skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
Teaching experience is a plus
FTE 19 hours per week, part-time adjunct staff
$17-19 hourly, 19 hours per week.
