Are you able to design and deliver high quality teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses? Can you contribute to pedagogic developments relating to learning and teaching?

The Sustainability Research Institute (SRI) is an internationally leading centre of excellence of research and teaching in the environmental social sciences. The School of Earth and Environment has a highly successful suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on sustainability and environmental management and policy. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated social scientist, with expertise in environmental policy and governance and in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, to join our team to contribute to teaching and scholarship at the highest level. We are particularly interested in recruiting a colleague, who is comfortable facing a wide range of teaching styles (online, lectures, small group, 1-1 supervision) and broad sustainability related topic areas.

You will lead seminars, workshops and give lectures across the sustainability suite of Undergraduate and Master programmes. This will include taught modules, field courses, quantitative and qualitative skills teaching and supervising research projects. In addition to teaching experience, you should have interdisciplinary research and/or practice background in the broad area of sustainability. The post requires an ability to supervise a broad range of sustainability related PGT dissertations.
