In collaboration with the Director of Admissions CRM and the Admissions CRM team, support the Office of Admissions by building and executing email and SMS campaigns using the CRM system in support of student recruitment, event-related communications, and internal communications; manage multiple projects simultaneously; have a working knowledge of HTML/CSS to aid in design and system troubleshooting; participate as a member of the Admissions communications team.

Ball State University welcomes applications for a CRM Communications Manager within Admissions in the Enrollment Planning and Management division.

Job Function:

In collaboration with the Director of Admissions CRM and the Admissions CRM team, support the Office of Admissions by building and executing email and SMS campaigns using the CRM system in support of student recruitment, event-related communications, and internal communications; manage multiple projects simultaneously; have a working knowledge of HTML/CSS to aid in design and system troubleshooting; participate as a member of the Admissions communications team.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum Experience:

One year of related job experience; computer application and system experience.

Preferred Experience:

Expert understanding of HTML/CSS, websites; experience writing, digital, and web; solid understanding of technology, demonstrating strong knowledge of CRM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, and deploy email and SMS campaigning designed to increase inquiry, application conversion, and strengthen university affinity.
  • Edit and adapt existing campaigns by increasing available system resources to strengthen the overall CRM strategy as communicated by the Director of Admissions CRM.

  • Manage and ensure that each communication contains current messaging/branding and is delivered to the proper recipients.

  • Collaborate with the Communications and CRM Teams to develop and deliver comprehensive campaigns; including building or uploading their associated recipient lists.

  • Support the maintenance, design, and creation of internal and external user portal pages.

  • Manage multiple and competing priorities to ensure timely delivery of critical projects; monitor and adhere to project production schedules, communicate routing and thoroughly with supervisors, and others about work progress.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the Admissions Communications team and University Marketing to ensure brand adherence.

  • Provide CRM system training to admissions staff and necessary stakeholders in coordination with the CRM team.

  • Maintain a current knowledge of admissions practices and procedures.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Research and review communication analytics and data to determine impact and success of campaigns.
