Perfa 112 Private Lessons and Masterclass: Instrumental - Jazz Specialist
Saint Mary's College seeks to hire a Jazz Specialist per-course adjunct faculty member to teach PERFA 112, Private Music Instruction Lab in the traditional undergraduate program in Fall 2022.
Perfa 112 is a weekly music instruction lab, which all private students attend, to receive instruction in a wide variety of topics that facilitate their success as a musician.
• Attend weekly PERFA-112-01 Masterclass every Friday 1:00 pm to 2:35 pm
• Provide students with valuable and constructive feedback to improve improvisation and overall jazz performance skills.
• Asses student's progress on a weekly basis
• Report regularly students' progress to the Director of Instrumental Studies
• Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Music (Jazz background prefered)
• Significant experience in Jazz pedagogy and performance at the public school and collegiate levels
