Job Description

Summary

The Conquer Cancer Medical Student Rotation for Underrepresented Populations provides a minimum 4-week clinical or clinical research oncology rotation for medical students from underrepresented populations in medicine. The individual set forth on the signature line below (“Recipient”) agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions applicable to the 2022 Conquer Cancer Medical Student Rotation for Underrepresented Populations (“MSR”). These Terms and Conditions include the 2022 Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (“Conquer Cancer”) Request for Applications dated October 15, 2021 and all forms and instructions of Conquer Cancer relating to the MSR, which are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.

 

As a recipient of the Medical Student Rotation Award for Underrepresented Populations (MSR), the Recipient is required to participate in activities, respond to Conquer Cancer’s request for information and complete the required rotation reports and surveys as indicated but not limited to the below. It is the responsibility of the Recipient to submit the reports and complete the surveys in a timely manner. Conquer Cancer may contact appropriate persons connected to the award to ensure the survey responses and other information are received as required.
Any information collected in the surveys may be used for program evaluations, and in marketing and communication materials including, but not limited to, annual reports, program brochures, website, or in any other materials issued by or on behalf of Conquer Cancer.


Certifications, Representations, Warranties, and Covenants
(1) Recipient certifies that to the best of their knowledge, the information provided in their MSR application is complete and true. Recipient agrees to promptly notify Conquer Cancer of any changes to the information provided in the application.
(2) Recipient agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including human subjects research, privacy, tax, humane care and use of laboratory animals, and laboratory safety laws.
(3) Recipient agrees that the MSR is for scientific and educational purposes. MSR funds will not be used for lobbying or political activities and will be used consistent with the Section 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status of and the charitable purposes of Conquer Cancer.

Job Duties

  • Provides office administrative support.
  • Provides research administrative or technical support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
  • No experience required.
