This position will assist in communication campaigns across email and websites for the Division of Enrollment Management. This position will be responsible for promoting OU to prospective freshmen and transfer students (U.S. and International students), parents, and high school counselors; and effectively communicating post-admission action items to admitted students. Additionally, this position will be responsible for communicating enrollment updates and promotions for the Student Financial Center, MoneyCoaches, Scholarship Office, Office of the Registrar, and Veteran Student Services for current students.

  • Build, execute, and manage email communication for prospective students, families, high school counselors, and current students
  • Assist communications team in developing, implementing, and maintaining communication objectives
  • Use CRM filters to build queries to communicate with specific populations
  • Use design elements in our email builder and CMS to create effective communication pieces
  • Work with campus programs and academic colleges to create and send emails
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of email campaigns
  • Update, create, and manage content across the division’s eight websites
  • Performs other duties as assigned

***This position will be located in Norman with a flexible hybrid option possible for experienced candidates after required training period.***

 

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Required bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field

Equivalency/Substitution:  Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

Skills:

  • Highly organized and detail oriented skills a must
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Digital accessibility knowledge a plus (training will be provided)
  • Ability to meet hard deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team

Certifications:

  • No required certification

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Standard administrative office environment and exposure, including frequent keyboarding. This position requires mobility, such as being able to move between floors or between buildings on campus. Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods. Must be able to communicate effectively.

Departmental Preferences:

  • CMS experience a plus (Adobe Experience Manager knowledge a plus, but training will be provided)
  • CRM experience a plus (Slate knowledge a plus, but training will be provided)
  • Preferred 6 to 24 months of email experience
