The OU Registrar Office works to bring in the next generation of Sooners. Our team operates from Norman as well as across the state, nation and world. We provide support to incoming domestic and international freshman and transfer students as they navigate the college application and decision process. Additionally, we partner with parents, counselors, and communities in providing resources to students interested in higher education. Our goal is to build a vibrant, inclusive community on campus by recruiting students with diverse backgrounds, educational experiences, and involvement.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with monthly Academic Programs Council (APC) meetings: review course proposals prior to APC review, prepare the course agenda, communicate APC questions to the academic departments, and prepare the meeting minutes.
  • Maintain Banner and Degree Navigator (DN) course tables with the approved course changes.
  • Review and maintain program requirement pages in the CourseLeaf catalog to create degree checksheets for all approved programs.
  • Create and maintain degree requirements in DN; troubleshoot DN issues for the advising community and work with OU-IT to resolve problems; create and maintain degree requirements for implementation of the new degree audit system, Stellic; and train new and existing users how to best utilize the degree audit system.
  • Answer questions sent to [email protected] regarding degree audits, courses, and programs.
  • Attend the Provost Advisory Committee on General Education Oversight (PACGEO) meetings, maintain the general education list, and add the attributes to the courses.

***The position will be located in Norman with a flexible hybrid option possible for experienced candidates after required training period.*** 

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business, Accounting, or related field, AND

  •  24 months of project management experience

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience.

Departmental Preferences:

  • Familiarity with OU academic programs and State Regents policies; proficiency with Adobe InDesign is a plus
