Job Description

Summary

The Department of Medicine, Section of Nephrology, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Senior Coordinator for day-to-day business operations. The candidate will work alongside physicians, staff, leadership, and external vendors. The candidate will be responsible for completing credentialing, managing purchase orders, placing supply orders, running reports in EPIC/cube in relation to financial activity to monitor expense spending, coordinating department meetings, retreats, and events, and assisting with other tasks as needed.

Job Duties

  • Independently processes credentialing (initial and reappointment) and annual faculty appointments.
  • Assists with onboarding of new faculty and staff.
  • Supports faculty with reimbursements on licenses, travel, and academic memberships, and tracking of expenses against financial budget allowance.
  • Manages PO, deposit checks, submit shopping cart requests, and order supplies.
  • Coordinates department meetings, retreats and annual courses including marketing, strategic planning and logistics.
  • Supports SuccessFactors personnel related transactions.
  • Provides support to faculty and staff in the section.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A relevant bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
