Responsibilities
The Miller lab is currently hiring for a Research Technician who will design, perform and analyze complex research experiments. Organizes, interprets, and communicates data to supervisor and co-workers. Modifies protocols to improve processes. Documents work appropriately. Troubleshoots problems in lab. May provide guidance to research staff, graduate students, and post docs. Collaborates, builds constructive relationships, and effectively communicates with other members of the lab. Works independently, but seeks assistance when needed. Operates highly specialized equipment requiring moderate to high degree of skill. Expected to perform more advanced techniques after appropriate training. Ability to work well with others is essential.


Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree typically in one of the biological sciences or equivalent years of professional, paid, relevant laboratory/clinical experience. Should be familiar with basic biochemistry or molecular biology lab techniques.
