CPM is a department within the College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma. We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers, clients and community partners training, research and consultant support for professional and programmatic development. We deliver cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions that are tailored to meet unique needs and situations.

The Administrative Assistant organizes and coordinates clerical, IT security, logistics support and contact center reporting for the CARE Education and Support Center. Assist with the hiring process including duplicating job application materials, scheduling interviews, monitoring exercises for interviewees, scheduling new hire paperwork and creating and maintaining personnel folders. Assist with timekeeping processes, documentation and time accounting system reconciliation including tracking assessment of employee time and attendance. Assist CARE employees with forms, contacts, processes. Coordinate access to Child Support's Information Systems for CARE, CIC and ESC. New hires, transfers, terminations.

This position requires a background check that involves a national search and fingerprint search to be eligible for employment. Results of the completed background check will be provided to the funding sponsor for their records.

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED, AND: 

  • 48 months office, clerical, or administrative experience.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of office procedures
  • General office and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
