Job Description

Summary

Provides assistance at the Baylor Well-Being Center and provides courteous customer service to members and staff. 

Work schedule is as follows, subject to change per department needs.

Week 1: 
•    Sunday: 10am – 6pm 
•    Monday – Thursday: 1:15pm – 9:15pm 

Week 2:
•    Monday – Wednesday: 1:15pm – 9:15pm
•    Friday: 1:15pm – 9:15pm 
•    Saturday: 10am – 6pm 
 

Job Duties

  • Monitors admittance into the wellness center and ensures that the Baylor Well-Being Center members adhere to all gym policies and procedures.
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment and reports any safety concerns as needed.
  • Answers phones, collects guest fees, and coordinates tournaments.
  • Ensures the Well-Being Center is safe, clean, and orderly for the Baylor community.
  • Communicates effectively with Well-Being Center members and management staff.
  • Provides equipment orientation for members and demonstrates proper equipment use as needed.
  • Provides tours of the Well-Being Center. 
  • Assists with events at the Well-Being Center and collaborates with the BCM Well-Being team to host events at various Baylor locations.
  • Provides great customer service to the Baylor community. 
  • Assists with the training of new team members and temps.
  • Supports Well-Being Center by completing administrative tasks such as creating operational trackers and updating the communication board and PowerPoint.
  • Actively engages with the Baylor community to gain new members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • No experience required.
