The Operations Manager for the Training and Research Center manages the daily service delivery of operational support, ensuring facilities, financial and project deliverables are on track and meet needs and demands.  This requires coordination with internal IT resources, and direct reports related to facility and financial tracking.  It will involve regular engagement with customers relating to both classrooms and contact center facility needs and ensuring critical vendor partners providing services are meeting required demands (custodial services, leased locations, and others).

Duties include the following:

  • Coordinate facilities, IT and AV support, financial and project deliverables 
  • Track and meet needs to provide requested support for all tenant organizations.
  • Provide Training Venue for Clients
  • Managing the service delivery of AV and IT Support for the Training venues
  • Provide onsite technical/audio visual/classroom configuration at training venues
  • Managing the service delivery of IT support for multiple contact centers/office sites
  • Provide continuity of operations for Training Center managed facilities
  • Supervise Financial Accounting for the Training Center
  • Coordinate provisioning and maintenance of Training Center space
  • Coordinate with Finance and accounting for budgeting and invoicing of services
  • Meet with clients to provide visibility of operations
  • Coordinate facility use and reservations
  • Coordinate utilization, procurement, and financial reporting
  • Supervising 5 support staff
 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree, AND: 

  • 48 months of related experience.

Equivalent / Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree to equal 96 months of related experience

 

Skills:

  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Able to effectively evaluate projects and programs and produce comprehensive reports
  • Able to supervise staff and communication directions and expectations effectively
  • Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Sits for prolonged periods of time. Use of computer. Manual dexterity. Communicate effectively and listens.
  • Standard Office Environment.
  • Ability to visit multiple offices to ensure service delivery and customer support.

Department Preferences:

  • Experience with managing training and classroom environments
  • Experience with vendor relations and facility management
  • Project Management Experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with working with State Agencies, such as Oklahoma Human Services

Supervision: Will supervise 3-5 staff.
