Due to the constant development of the Selvita, we are seeking talented Project Leaders for the role of Associate Director – Integrated Drug Discovery (IDD). It is an exciting newly-created opportunity to provide strong strategic and scientific leadership across the drug discovery projects from target validation to early preclinical development in collaboration with our clients. In this key position, you will be responsible for building and managing high-performing, collaborative, inter-disciplinary projects in various therapeutic areas such as oncology, inflammation, immunology, CNS, or infectious disease.

Key Responsibilities
Provide independent scientific leadership across IDD Teams to achieve project goals.
Provide innovative drug discovery expertise and solutions to complex IDD projects issues.
Work collaboratively within multiple cross-functional IDD teams.
Contribute to, and influence, the direction of the IDD Team and portfolio IDD projects.
Build networks with other leaders and external experts to learn about new developments, leverage opportunities, and share best practices.
Act as strong Subject-Matter-Expert, and mentor scientists working on IDD projects to foster a working environment that promotes scientific excellence and encourages innovation.
Contribute scientifically towards IDD business development opportunities and initiatives to further evolve Selvita's business and offerings.

Your Background
MSc or Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry or other applicable disciplines.
Over 5 years of experience leading IDD projects, covering a variety of therapeutic areas, to preclinical candidate nomination.
A track record of strong problem-solving and decision-making skills contributing towards the delivery of preclinical development candidates; including supporting publications.
Ability to work remotely and regularly travel to our two main sites in Krakow and Zagreb.
Collaborative Project Leader with solid influencing and communication skills.
Positive drive and enthusiasm and desire for personal professional development and growth.
Excellent communication skills with the willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
