Job Description

The Carnegie Mellon Biomedical Engineering department seeks to transform healthcare worldwide through interdisciplinary engineering innovation and to train future leaders and innovators in biomedical engineering.
We are currently searching for a Lab Technician to work with Professor Bin He’s research team in the Biomedical Engineering department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by assisting in the development and execution of research projects, including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Carrying out noninvasive human experiments involving EEG, brain-computer interface and neuromodulation.

Identifying problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems.

May program software in support of job functions.

Provide administrative assistance to the lab.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

1-3 years of research lab experience

Or a combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
