Overview
The WebAIM team helps companies and organizations make their web content more accessible to people with disabilities. As a web accessibility evaluator (Programmer/Analyst II) at WebAIM, you will help make the web a better place for everyone.

This position is telework eligible within the state of Utah. Telework outside of the state of Utah is subject to review and approval by the University prior to a job offer being extended.

Responsibilities
Evaluate websites for accessibility and conformance.
Provide web accessibility consultation, technical assistance, and support to WebAIM clients.
Author and develop WebAIM content and tools, including the WAVE web accessibility tool.
Contribute to WebAIM's mission of improving web accessibility.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field plus 2 Years of experience in programming, business information and/or data analysis OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrable experience in web accessibility, design, development, UX, or related fields.
Strong web design and development (HTML, CSS, etc.) skills and experience.
Skills and working knowledge of web accessibility principles, techniques, and guidelines.
A strong command of the English language in written and verbal communications.
Proactive and motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated personal work habits of self-initiation and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:

Assistive technology expertise, particularly with common screen readers.
Web accessibility evaluation/QA and implementation experience.
Deep understanding of and experience implementing and evaluating to the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
Project management experience.
