The Department of Engineering Management & Technology (EMT) at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites applications for a lecturer position, in Engineering Management. The starting date for this position is January 1, 2023, but it may be extended to August 1, 2023.

Applicants for the position described below should be willing to engage in a variety of instructional modalities, including online instruction. This position also requires establishing working relationships with local industries for education and training. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire students are desired.

Engineering Management: The successful candidates should have a M.S. degree or higher in related engineering, engineering management, or a closely related field from an accredited program giving him/her the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in various areas of engineering management such as project management, quality management, logistics, supply chain, materials management, and ergonomics. Individuals with work experience in manufacturing are highly encouraged to apply.
