Rider University invites applications for an Admissions Counselor who will be responsible for obtaining necessary knowledge of all aspects of Rider and acting as a spokesperson for the University in a professional and customer-oriented manner. The Admissions Counselor will also be responsible for counseling prospective students; reviewing applications; making admission decisions; and managing a specific recruitment territory by visiting high school age students in their school setting throughout five counties of Pennsylvania. The Admissions Counselor will participate in recruitment activities on and off campus during the week and on some weekends.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated technical skills with internet applications, including Google applications, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, customer service, organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategy and social media
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and vehicle required
