JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Instructor of Information Sciences and Technology
Penn State Altoona invites applications for Fall 2023 for a full-time instructor position in Information Sciences and Technology. The position will support majors in cybersecurity and information technology. The successful candidate may teach courses in introductory IT, information security, cybersecurity, project management, decision theory, programming, databases, networking, risk assessment and risk management. A Master's degree or higher in an information technology-related field is required.

Qualifications: A terminal degree is required for the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor. If no terminal degree, the candidate will be hired as an instructor.

Applicants should submit a letter of application establishing their qualifications, a current CV, a description of teaching philosophy, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and three letters of reference.
