Under the general supervision of the Director of Community Based Prevention Services, this position is responsible for data coordination and reporting to the Strategic Prevention Framework-Rx Program within the Southwest Prevention Center.

DUTIES

  • Design and develop data collection and program evaluation tools and protocol.
  • Conduct routine analysis on program process and outcome data.
  • Identify program improvement working closely with program staff.
  • Provide training to staff on different evaluation aspects.
  • Draft written reports and presentations related to evaluation process and findings.
  • Conduct reviews of program-related documents, data files, published information and official reports.
  • Assist in the performance measure reporting in federal reporting system.
  • Provide coordination to the Regional Epidemiological Outcomes Work Group.

Travel Required within Cleveland & McClain counties

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 

  •  48 months of related experience.

Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree to equal 96 months of related experience.

Skills:

  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines·
  • Able to effectively evaluate projects and programs and produce comprehensive reports··
  • Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations.

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Sits for prolonged periods. Communicate effectively. Manual dexterity.
  • Standard office environment.

Supervision:

  • None

Departmental Preferences:

  • Volunteer or paid experience in drug and alcohol prevention, public health, health field or social services
  • Ability and skills to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment with both members of the project and the department.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Prior experience serving as an evaluator to a substance use program or project.
  • Good understanding of compliance with grant goals and objectives.
  • Strong data entry and data analytic skills.
  • Ability to communicate with people of all levels, in a culturally sensitive manner.
