Job Description

Summary

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow that is interested in a cutting edge research apprenticeship under Dr. Ramiro Salas. The postdoc will work in apprenticeship mode in preparation for a career as a scientific professional.
 

Job Duties

  • Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals. 
  • Assists with laboratory operations.
  • Supervises research staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.
