Job Description

Summary

Manage the day to day operations of the HR Employee Records Team by performing and assisting with the implementation of human resources activities and HRIS programs. This role supervises professional and/or operational and technical support level employees. 

Job Duties

•    Manages the daily operations of the Human Resources Employee Records team.
•    Supervises Employee Records staff which includes hiring activities, providing guidance, coaching, performance management, time management, and training.
•    Ensures applicable federal, state, and local laws are followed; Ensures compliance with the College's policies and procedures for employee record management and time management.
•    Assists with complex HRIS data issues and end-user inquiries.
•    Trains users and provides guidance on system functionality.
•    Troubleshoots and resolves system issues.
•    Reviews and audits employee data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
•    Identifies opportunities for process improvement related to staff and end user training, position management processes, hire and termination changes, onboarding and time management.
•    Develops and updates procedures related to system entries and laws, policies, and guidelines.
•    Develops and distributes reports to internal users.
•    Participates in College-wide projects and initiatives by serving as the Employee Records subject matter expert.
•    Participates in quality assurance and testing of the HRIS when system updates are released.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
