Summary

The QA/QC Associate monitors study activities to ensure compliance with all relevant local, federal, and state regulatory and institutional policies while identifying protocol problems, reviewing study-related documents, and ensuring that appropriate corrections are made and documented for missing or incomplete data. The QA/QC Associate will provide support to the Core Directors to execute contracts and material transfers.

Job Duties

  • Develops, performs and manages quality assurance activities
  • Maintains compliance with all IRB protocol renewals and amendments.
  • Monitors certificates and training for all research staff.
  • Identifies protocol problems, inform investigators of problems, or assist in problem resolution efforts such as protocol revisions.
  • Documents discrepancies, internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
  • Works with Core Directors to execute material transfer agreements and other contracts.
  • Supports the directors with annual reviews and summary reports.
  • Invoices against fee for service contracts.
  • Tracks documentation and distributions for approved research.
  • Works closely with department grants and contracts to keep all activities in compliance and current.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
