CPM is a department within the College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma. We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers, clients and community partners training, research, and consultant support for professional and programmatic development. We deliver cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions that are tailored to meet unique needs and situations. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the case management process to include:
  • Connect with customers during life of case with FVI to see if they have access to services
  • Develop training with child support, court, and domestic violence partner staff
  • Develop public and victim/survivor education and outreach
  • Develop and implement responsive good cause protections for victims/survivor subject to child support cooperation requirements
  • Help develop and implement modified application, intake, establishment, and case management processes for parents affected by domestic violence
  • Manage partnership collaborations, including the DHS Domestic Violence Council, and help implement and guide the SAVES Demonstration Advisory Council
  • Implement specialized domestic violence triage teams
  • Provide child support case consultation and advising on child support casework and/or interpretation of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide casework services at all levels of difficulty and complexity.
  • Provide leadership for case workers.
  • Maintains records documenting activity and performance of delivery services.
  • Serves as the liaison between the program and other agencies.
  • Coordinates the opening of additional service sites.
  • Updates policies, procedures, and standards to ensure accuracy.

This position requires a background check that involves a national search and fingerprint search to be eligible for employment. Results of the completed background check will be provided to the funding sponsor for their records.

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or other Health or Human Services AND

  • 24 months experience in case management.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept an Associate's Degree in Nursing in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of trends and developments in the area of domestic violence
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage and lead projects
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for prolonged periods.
  • Communicate effectively and listen.
  • Use of a computer.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Standard Office Environment

Department Preferences:

  • DHS Case Worker with Domestic Violence experience
