Job Description

Michigan Technological University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for the position of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering. Applicants for the position are required to have an earned Ph.D. degree in electrical or computer engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach effectively at the graduate and undergraduate levels, have a record of research and scholarship in electrical or computer engineering, communicate effectively with students, professionals, and the general public, and successfully work with diverse individuals.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has 679 undergraduate students, 107 graduate students, 25 faculty, and 10 staff members, with aggressive goals for growth in coming years. The department has active research programs in image and signal processing, remote sensing, robotics, communications and sensor networks, electric energy systems, and electrophysics.
Electrical & Computer Engineering is one of nine departments in the College of Engineering, which comprises over 4,100 of Michigan Tech’s total enrollment of approximately 7,000 STEM-focused students.
