In the Fall of 2017, the Graduate School of Business within Price College of Business was named the Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business (GSB), relocating to a new 27,000-square-foot flagship facility located in the heart of Oklahoma City at OU's University Research Park on the Health Sciences Center campus. Strategically anchored between the downtown energy and financial sectors to the west and the growing healthcare and aerospace sectors to the east, the facility is now home to OU's full-time, professional, and online MBA programs. 

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Office Manager will be an integral part of a high-functioning team supporting a high-quality experience for incoming and current MBA students, faculty, business executives, and staff. The Office Manager position is crucial in keeping the MBA Programs operating smoothly by providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Senior Director, assisting in budget administration, and handling purchasing, travel, and human resources responsibilities for the department.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Oversee facilities and operations of the Rainbolg GSB including: 
    • Managing the facility budget
    • Coordinating with external partners on space booking and facility rental agreements
    • Leasing with University Research Park operations
    • Evening staffing
    • Building access issues
  • Schedule access and coordinate all necessities when hosting internal or external groups within the Rainbolt GSB
  • Coordinate the purchasing of operational supplies for the Rainbolt GSB (coffee, office suppplies, furniture, etc)
  • Address parking issues for faculty and students
  • Basic website updates
  • Solve departmental problems as they arise
  • Other duties as assigned

This position is located in Oklahoma City and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement for experienced candidates.  There will be occasional required evening and weekend work hours required.

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 

  • 12 months of related experience

Equivalency/Substitution:  Will accept 48 months experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 60 months related experience

 

Skills:

  • Basic math skills
  • Advanced computer skills with wide knowledge of business software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Communicate effectively

  • Standard office environment

Department Preferences:

  • Experience with OU systems, such as Taleo and Concur
