Summary

CAGT's GMP laboratory is for processing of clinical products for use in human.  It is operated on strict compliance to SOP and all clinical governing entities' requirements. This role is required to ensure all samples and documentations get to appropriate places in the required time frame in accordance to SOP's. This position will also assist the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Facility manager with maintaining all laboratory suites (inclusive of equipment and supply management). The individual will be assigned administrative responsibilities of required GMP documentations such as data entry, copying, filing of clinical information and personnel training binders. These are critical to the overall process to ensure the technical staff and management have the necessary time to prepare for clinical processing and audit preparation. This position will require training on GMP and applicable FDA regulations.

Job Duties

  • Delivers and picks-up clinical samples from hospitals and/or labs as required.
  • Temperature mapping of the equipment.
  • Gives GMP Facility tours to visitors.
  • Troubleshoots minor equipment issues.
  • Escorts department visitors including vendors and technical contractors to scheduled appointments.
  • Escorts scheduled vendors to the appropriate location inside the GMP facility, ensuring all resulting service reports are submitted to the GMP facility manager.
  • Delivers and picks-up mail from various buildings within the Medical Center as required.
  • Provides telephone coverage, which includes answering telephones, routing calls appropriately, and taking messages when necessary.
  • Compiles sample testing results from Hospitals on a daily basis for Quality Control group.
  • Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail. Generates shipping labels as needed.
  • Maintains compliance documentations / training binders / and filing in accordance to SOP's. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
