Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Systems Analyst supports the complete life cycle process of one or more ERP application systems.

When directed, analyze and propose enhancements to existing application systems.
Provide application system development, installation and maintenance services and coordinate these activities with assigned University offices and within Information Systems.
Conduct business system and process workflow analysis using proven methodologies.
Work with assigned vendors to maintain application system availability and to enhance application system functionality.
Ensure proper unit system testing is successfully completed prior to production turnover.
Resolve production system problems; including providing after hours support as needed.
Maintain appropriate records of time utilization to aid in department projects tracking.
Coordinate work with systems analysts and programmer/analysts.
Prepare work plan and time estimates for projects.
Prepare and maintain system and operating documentation.
Keep current with tools and utilities provided by the department to enhance proficiency and productivity.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer information science or related field.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements
Demonstrated experience supporting administrative application systems throughout the computer life cycle process.
Experience working with vendors to resolve systems problems.
Proficient with querying language such as ANSI-SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL.
Proven knowledge of relational database concepts.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and technical skills acquired through two plus years of system analysis experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications
Higher education experience supporting ERP solutions such as Banner, preferred.
Experience with Identity Access Management, Single Sign-On (SSO) and Linux operating systems.
