Position Description

The Department of Teacher Education at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors of early childhood education, educational psychology, and special education for the spring semester beginning January 23, 2023.  The position is to teach courses titled: Infant and Toddler Care and Education; Developmental Educational Psychology; and various special education courses.

Position Requirements

Instructors for Educational Psychology, Early Childhood and Special Education courses must be able to commit to teaching on campus during daytime hours. Courses may include supervising a related field experience in a K-12 partner school.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in education or a related field.
  • K-12 teaching certificate (for field-based courses) and classroom/school experience
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of research, policy and practices related to the course of study

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Doctorate
  • University teaching experience
