Provide administrative support to Annual Giving (including Cardinal Varsity Club and Leadership Annual Giving), and Student & Young Alumni Philanthropy. Serve as an active participant in the coordination and execution of key fundraising and campus philanthropy efforts. The coordinator will work with a variety of colleagues and balance an array of duties.

Job Function:

Provide administrative support to Annual Giving (including Cardinal Varsity Club and Leadership Annual Giving), and Student & Young Alumni Philanthropy. Serve as an active participant in the coordination and execution of key fundraising and campus philanthropy efforts. The coordinator will work with a variety of colleagues and balance an array of duties.

Minimum Education:

Associate degree OR a high school diploma with two years of working experience in an office/professional, non-profit, marketing, higher education, or similar industry setting.

Minimum Experience:

At least one year of administrative support experience or related experience in an office support role.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Raisers Edge and/or Fundraiser Performance Management database software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as administrative support for the Senior Director of Annual Giving. Duties include arranging team and individual meetings, creating agendas and minutes, handling receipts for reimbursement, submitting travel documents and more. Some duties include LAG.
  • Assist Senior Director of Annual Giving with the OBSD marketing committee, including setting an agenda, sending minutes, ordering and tracking promotional items, securing billboard space and all other marketing and media related initiatives of giving day.
  • Enter and revise LAG/CVC opportunities in NXT; submit signed opportunities; communicate with Gift Processing for payments received from LAG and CVC officers.
  • Leverage various software tools (Fundraiser Performance Management, Raiser’s Edge NXT, etc.) to code CVC memberships and update the database to show annual giving fundraising outcomes.
  • Provide CVC and LAG with any donor/graduate biographical information for the purpose of visits or post visit.
  • Coordinate the mailing of CVC membership perks, season ticket distribution, football/basketball parking passes and the like.

  • Work with printing services on projects as directed by Annual Giving or CVC.

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Student and Young Alumni Philanthropy.
  • Assist with Top 100 Student Awards logistics and any duties related to philanthropy education.
  • Work with printing services on projects as directed by the Director of SYAP.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Annual Giving, SYAP, LAG, and CVC.

  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
