CPM is a department within the College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma. We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers, clients and community partners training, research and consultant support for professional and programmatic development. We deliver cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions that are tailored to meet unique needs and situations.

Lead projects focused on aligning learning and development solutions with business priorities and deliverables. Lead the design, development, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of learning and development solutions for department staff. Defining and executing strategies in collaboration with department and program leadership.

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, AND: 

  • 60 months experience designing and implementing employee development programs.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 108 months related experience.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
  • Ability to design and implement effective learning and development

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for prolonged periods. Ability to engage in repetitive motions. Communicate effectively and listen. Standard Office Environment. Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods. Requires contact with employees, other departments, and University officials. 

Departmental Preferences:

  • Master's Degree in adult learning and development.
  • 36+ months experience managing and actively contributing to learning design and delivery programs.
