Research Assistant in Ultrasonic Systems Architecture
Job Description
Are you an embedded systems designer with experience looking to work in a vibrant small start-up? Do you have experience of sensing systems such ultrasonics?
This 12-month opportunity is based within the Ultrasound Group, and the work is focussed on deploying beamforming strategies both architecturally and in software. You will use cross platform skills covering soft/hard processor systems, FPGA and GPU.
You will perform testing across the platforms, covering software simulation and verification through to laboratory deployed testing with phantoms. You will also need to have commercial awareness as commercial interaction including presentations to potential investors will be a critical aspect of the post.
