Job Summary
The Office of Research Integrity & Compliance in the Research Information Systems unit is seeking a Senior IT Specialist. This position performs information systems support and development in all of the following functional areas, data control, applications training, data coordination and scheduling, data security administration, IT project coordination, managing software and listservs, managing user accounts, and documentation. This position will also be the web master for twelve separate departmental websites under the Office of Research Integrity & Compliance.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, overseeing all aspects of website support. The individual hired in this role will develop and maintain the organization’s portal. Performs backups and ensures user accessibility to the site. Monitors site traffic and helps scale site capacity to meet traffic demands and performance expectations. Improves the portal’s efficiency and designs the look and feel for the site.

About ORIS:
The Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS) manages the Information Systems for the Vice President for Research. ORIS primarily supports Pre-Award and Post-Award Grant management, the Institutional Review Board, Conflict of Interest, and other compliance related systems.
