Job Description

Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have an established background in Cognitive Neuroscience? Do you want to further your career in one of the UKs leading research intensive Universities?

We are looking to appoint a research fellow to make a leading contribution to a research project on the neuroscience of human decision making. The post will be based at the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leeds

The aim of this research is to characterise the brain networks implicated in the processing of multisensory information and the formation of perceptual decisions. To this end, the post-holder will record neuroimaging (EEG) and behavioural data and employ advanced single-trial multivariate analysis methods and computational modelling to unravel the neural dynamics and the computational principles underlying multisensory decision-making.

You must have a PhD (or close to completion) in Cognitive Neuroscience or a closely allied discipline; as well as experience in human neuroimaging experiments, EEG recordings and data analysis as evident by publications in international journals. You must also have working knowledge of multivariate data analysis techniques and excellent programming skills in Matlab and/or Python.
