The Ball State University Housing department has an opening for a 3rd shift part time night staff supervisor. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys evening hours to provide a secure environment for people living in University residential areas. A .35/hour third shift premium will be added to the wage.

Position Function: Provide a secure living environment for people living in university residential areas; perform minor maintenance; check doors; monitor mechanical system alarms; review cameras.

Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent. One through three years of experience with industrial mechanics, security or residential living; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; possess good communication skills. Ability to walk distances around/through buildings and across campus, including up and down eight or more flights of stairs.

Preferred qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in industrial mechanics or security. At least one year of experience with college population.
