Qualifications:

An introduction to social psychology including the study of attitude formation and change, social interaction, social norms and cultural influences on personality formation. Prerequisite: Psychology 1. This course satisfies the Social, Historical, and Cultural Understanding requirement of the Core Curriculum.

This course will be taught on the Moraga campus in person on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:45 - 11:20 am during the 2023 Spring term.

In addition to teaching, the instructor is expected to hold regular virtual office hours (a minimum of one hour per week) in order to provide students with support outside of the classroom.

Candidates must have an M.S., M.A. or Ph.D. in the relevant area of Psychology. A Ph.D. in Psychology is highly desirable. Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all coursework to be performed in the state of California.
