The Department values diversity among its faculty and is committed to building a culturally diverse intellectual community. Support of the College of Education & Human Services Mission of “fostering knowledgeable, committed, and reflective professionals” is expected.

We are now expanding our offering with the development of a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) to begin in the Fall of 2024. We are seeking candidates who have previous experience in Social Work, either in an academic setting or in practice, who can assist with the development of the BSW program. Specific tasks include recruiting agency placements, matching agency field instructors, interviewing and placing students, maintaining field manuals, and overseeing the curriculum for fieldwork courses.

The program prides itself on a collaborative atmosphere and promotes the teaching of self-awareness as a key part of becoming a professional counselor. We seek a dedicated professional, with a collaborative approach to join our dynamic and growing program.
