Job Description

The University and Leeds University Business School (LUBS) have plans to further enhance our international research visibility and impact, and to accelerate and strengthen our international research links and partnership. We would like to recruit an International Research Facilitator to support ongoing activity to increase international research visibility, grant funding, publication and impact, and to support the development of split site PhDs and dual PhD programmes with strategic partners.

With a research environment judged to be conducive to producing world leading and internationally excellent research by the REF 2021 panel, the Faculty is investing substantially in the further development of this environment. Building on investment from Research England to create a Research Smart Lab, the establishment of a Behavioural Lab, the development of a Data Centre housing twenty three datasets and tools, two fully equipped trading rooms, and significant investment in a Faculty Post-Doctoral Fellowship scheme, we are seeking to further enhance this environment to support the Faculty’s internationally recognised research with the following appointments:

LUBS is a full service business school built on the rigour of disciplinary strength while working in a pluralistic way to deliver impactful research and education. With this international research facilitator role, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who can make a significant contribution to our research support activities. You will report to the Pro Dean International, working closely with the Pro Dean and Deputy Pro Dean for Research and Innovation, to support the delivery of the Faculty’s Research Strategy. Close collaboration across teams working in cognate areas is an essential part of the job. You will therefore have close working relationships with the wider International Team, the Faculty’s Research Support team and the Graduate School team.
