Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management

Are you an experienced and influential academic with the proven ability to carry out teaching and research in operations and supply chain management and related topics? Do you have an excellent research track record, proven success obtaining funding and the vision and drive to tackle new challenges? Are you passionate about delivering world leading research, an exceptional student experience, and societal impacts?
As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you will carry out research, teaching and administration within the Management department and contribute to academic leadership in the field of business with specific emphasis on operations and supply chain management. You will also contribute to the popular MSc Global Supply Chain Management programme through leadership or supporting roles.
You will be joining the highly active Centre for Operations and Supply Chain Research (COSCR). Your teaching responsibilities will fall with the Logistics, Information, Operations and Networks (LION) Subject Group of the Management Department of Leeds University Business School.
COSCR’s work is focused on the development and dissemination of knowledge in operations and supply chain management, as well as advancing managerial practices. Research projects cover several core themes: end-to-end supply chain integration; supply chain digitalization, analytics and innovation; and resilience and sustainability. COSCR also benefits from long established collaboration networks including supply chain companies and government agencies, facilitated through the Supply Chain Council and other research institutions specialising in logistics, operations and supply chains, amongst other disciplines.
The Logistics, Information, Operations and Networks Subject Group, part of the School’s Management Department, was established to advance operations, supply chain management as well as information management theories and practices.
