Job Description

Summary

We are seeking an Epic trainer who will work with the training director, training analysts, subject matter experts and application team members to develop and deliver Epic training. The trainer will specialize in applications (primarily Resolute, Cadence and Prelude) and help in the development and maintenance of training materials and the training for those applications. The trainer will work both remotely and on-site as they gather requirements for updating/developing documentation and providing end user training. Additional duties include updating the training environment, reviewing and updating course material, handling customer support requests and maintaining the EPIC training schedule in the LMS. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail and must be comfortable presenting in front of a group. 

Job Duties

  • Works with other trainers and Director as they are mentored about the Epic BCM training process, including documenation and training.
  • Delivers in-person and remote training to end users and the duties related to that task, including planning, coordinating, and facilitating in-person classroom or 1:1 training related to the Epic applications assigned.
  • Develops materials for classroom training (includes manuals, quick reference guides, user logins, exercises, assessments, etc.). 
  • Fosters strong relationships between the staff, subject matter experts, trainers, and the Epic team.
  • Works with Epic analysts and subject matter experts in the upkeep and development of materials. 
  • Creates training sessions, tracks and updates attendance, assigns courses to learners, and other actions within the SuccessFactors LMS.
  • Handles customer support requests on rotating schedule (access request, access issues, training requests, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Experience with insurance and billing, training, Epic.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate on both interpersonal and technical level.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills.
