Job Summary
The Cyber Academic Program Coordinator will be responsible for undergraduate student recruitment and support for the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences with general direction from the School's senior leadership. This person will interface with departments throughout the university including Student Affairs, Registrar, Advising and Graduate Studies.

Responsibilities
The duties include, but not limited to:

Undergraduate Student Success Support - Serves as the primary point of contact for students and visitors of the SCCS Undergraduate suite to include student concerns and review of course evaluations. Assists in the day-to-day undergraduate operations of the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences. Manages the school and related program email to field prospective student questions. Provides support for school events including recruitment and outreach event set-up, and other events on campus. Including but not limited to Closer Look Tours and Undergraduate Preview Day. Support undergraduate student recruiting and advising by responding to both external and internal program inquiries. Track prospective students from initial inquiry, acceptance, through graduation and after degree award. Assists in determining student eligibility for scholarships and other assistantship programs. Complete all student graduation applications. Disseminate current information to students about program related education opportunities and trends in cyber and computing related disciplines. Develop and implement strategies to recruit a qualified and diverse student population and reach enrollment goals. Assists with tracking undergraduate course and research assistants.

Graduate Student Success Support - Coordinate and manage internship programs with students/trainees. Assists in determining student eligibility for scholarships and other assistantship programs. Serves as a backup to the Graduate Cyber Academic Program Coordinator. Assists in tracking graduate and graduate research assistants.

Required Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and three years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
OR
High school diploma/GED and six years' progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.

Preferred Qualifications
Possession of an advanced degree in computing, education or related field. Knowledge of Augusta University graduate recruitment and admission policies.

KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

ABILITIES
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; Monday-Friday (Work outside of the normal business hours may be required.)
Pay Grade: 15
Salary: Minimum $38,913/annually - Midpoint $52,533/annually
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
