Job Summary
This position is responsible for independently managing the day-to-day administration and planning of financial support activities for a large complex department to include: budget development and administration, procurement/financial components requiring the ability to maintain complex financial systems and cost accounting reports. Responsible for the management of personnel and facilities of a large, complex department under the guidance of the department head (Director, Housing and Residence life).

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Overall responsibility for the departmental business operations including: forecasting and monitoring of budgets, revenues and expenses; submit and approve purchasing requests.
Directs all aspects of billing (including charges, holds, refunds, waivers, and fees) for residential students and visitors; assumes customer service responsibility for any financial inquiry.
Coordinates managerial functions including reporting on all aspects of housing including: financial reports related to P3, PPV, and all other related financial activities within housing.
Assists with professional and student employment matters including, but not limited to: employment processing, payroll, scheduling and reporting; supervises assigned staff.
Manages summer tum at PPV and provides support for all departmental operations, programs and services, including: move-in/out, orientation/recruiting; on-call emergency/incident response.
Maintains and develops administrative policies and procedures, including annual review of housing agreements, departmental sales and service contracts and operational guidelines.
Develops and manages short and long-range departmental goals and projects.
Perform all job-related additional duties as assigned (including committee effort) in support of the University and the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university or a related discipline and one year administrative and/or management experience.
OR
Associate's degree from an accredited institution and two years of relevant experience.
OR
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and three years administrative and fiscal management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a professional work environment. Ability to manage multiple projects. Extensive experience with financial management software, inventory controls software, and human resources software.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality. Detail-oriented. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)
Pay Grade: 15
Salary Minimum: $38,913 - $43,913
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
