Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to College of Nursing Athens Campus employees. This position serves as receptionist for the campus and is in a work area that is subject to frequent interruptions and the ability to focus and multi-task is a must.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Handle incoming telephone calls in a professional manner and triage calls appropriately. Greet and assist guests and respond to requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Manage day-to-day administrative support and planning of standard administrative support activities. To include but not limited to preparing course/class materials, correspondences, spreadsheets, presentations, handouts, certificates, etc. Assist with employee new hire and clearance processes. Orient new employees on the Athens Campus regarding policy and procedures. Coordinate travel and prepare documents for employee's travel and reimbursement. Process purchasing and PCard requests, order office supplies, and assist with office supply, equipment, and space inventory. Provide information on policies and procedures as needed. Receive and relay sensitive information related to personnel, activities, and campus. Request faculty desk copies of textbooks from publishers. Maintain employee records and files. Sort and distribute incoming mail; signs for incoming packages and delivers to appropriate personnel. Processes outgoing mail and packages. Manage classroom and conference room scheduling for classes and meetings and submit room requests as required.
Assist with special campus activities and events. In coordination with JagCard, submit new faculty/incoming student photos for ID badges. Assist perspective students with general admission information and procedures. Schedule and lead student building tours. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions; or a high school diploma or GED and six years of progressively responsible experience in administration support positions.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills. Detail-oriented. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases. Knowledge of office etiquette and general office procedures. Ability to multi-task and work independently. Ability to complete assigned tasks and make decisions based on guidelines, policies, and procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate proactive initiative, and adapt to change.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days Mon-Fri
Pay Grade: 10
Salary Minimum: $15.00- $17.02 hourly.
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.

Conditions of Employment
