Responsibilities
Assistant Women's Soccer Coach: Assist Head Coach in the operation of the women's soccer team.

• Internal Operations: (1). Alumnae.Relations (2). Coordinate all team events including yearly team retreat (3). Oversee heart-rate monitoring system ( 4). Opponent scouting reports.
• On Field Coaching: Assist head coach in the organization of daily training sessions.
• Gear Coordinator: Responsible .for the yearly gear order and any minor D order throughout the year.
• Academics: (1 ). Responsible to ensure student athletes complete study hall hours (2). Ensure any at risk student athletes are given appropriate help (3). Have regular meetings with student athletes to ensure they are on track academically
• Local Recruiting: (1). Responsible for recruiting within fifty (50) miles of campus (2). Know all the local club/ high school teams (3). Create
relationships with club and high school coaches within the 50 mile radius
of campus.
• Know, recognize, and comply with the laws, policies, rules, and regulations governing the College and Its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Including, but not limited to, NCAA Bylaw, Article 11 and its requirement to report all athletically-related income and benefits from sources outside of the College to the President) and of the West Coast Conference as now constituted or as may be amended In the future. Supervise and ensure that any assistants and any other employees and/or volunteers for whom you are
administratively responsible comply with the aforesaid policies; rules and
regulations. Immediately advise the Director of Athletics if you have reasonable
• cause to believe violations, whether by employees or students, have occurred or will occur.
• Other Duties as Assigned (1). Game day duties to Include field set up, video set up and team warm up.

Experience and Qualifications
Education Required: Bachelor of Arts degree required
Education Preferred: Master's degree

Experience:

• NCAA DI or NCAA DII Assistant or Head Coaching experience

Skills/ Abilities:

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff, and others
• Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines and work under pressure; team oriented.

Licenses & Certificates Required: None
Licenses & Certificates Preferred: NSCAA Advanced National or Premier Diploma and/or US Soccer National "C, B, or A" License

Other requirements: Travel, weekend/evening work
