Summary

Dr. Rasband's team is discovering the functional organization of axons in health as well as disease or injury. The lab is seeking a talented Research Technician I to join the team. The applicant be motivated, organized, and resourceful scientist. The ability to properly document results is critical for this position. The technician will have the opportunity to learn new skills, and be part of an enjoyable workplace.

Job Duties

  • Works on Mouse colony management that includes genotyping.
  • Supports for on-going studies, particularly tissue harvest.
  • Performs mouse maintenance.
  • Works with and assists graduate student to keep the project going.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Two years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.
