Summary

The Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, is looking to hire an competent and reliable Senior Clinical Research Associate to manage day to day operations of the section's research mission. The candidate will support complex research projects, analyze data, and develop research protocols & techniques for various research projects. The candidate will conduct research experiments, manage grants and protocols, and work directly with the PI. Job Duties

Manage Multiple research projects at Baylor Clinic, including:

  • The Texas Hepatocellular Carcinoma Consortium (THCCC) -Cirrhosis Quality Collaborative study -Glycotest Hcc panel vs AFP for the detection of early stage Hepatocellular carcinoma
  • Prevalence and risk factors of active infection and antibody response to COVID-19Analyze data and present to PI
  • Recruit, screen, consent and enroll patients in various studies
  • Onboard and train new research personnel, overseeing data collection/entry process
  • Develop section wide research protocols and apply to ongoing projects
  • Assist with Grant Writing and IRB submission
  • Conduct literature searches and summarize information in an appropriate format for a particular study, and assist in publication
  • Administrate and manage research procedures
  • Report THCCC, Redcap and Compass data management program outcomes to IT team and lead investigator and suggest any modification required
  • Oversee quality improvement plan and suggest revision to meet the research project target
  • Maintain all regulatory documents for all studies
  • Collaborate directly with study sponsor, including from pre-award building budget to post award steps, including invoice submission and tracking payments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
