Summary

The Cardiovascular Research Institute is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Senior Coordinator to support day-to-day business operations. The candidate will also additionally support educational initiatives and special projects. The ideal candidate will be able to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities, deadlines, and organize and maintain administrative processes as essential to this position.

 

The Sr. Coordinator will support the Director and Sr. Business Operations Associate in day-to-day operations and special projects. This role also oversees three courses managed by the center director- this includes curriculum development, lecture scheduling, grade reporting, and quarterly committee meeting oversight.
 

Job Duties

  • Schedules appointments/meetings for the Center Director.
  • Makes travel arrangements and reservations, including for invited speakers.
  • Prepares and processes purchasing orders. 
  • Orders and maintains office supplies, subscriptions, dues, pays invoices, and processes travel reimbursements via Concur/SAP; including check requests, cash requests, and journal voucher transfers for the unit. 
  • Oversees development and coordination of fall and spring seminar series. 
  • Oversees social media and College-wide communications and announcements.  
  • Oversees course development and operations for three graduate level courses.  
  • Serves as the center's Concur point of contact and expert.
  • Coordinates with ISO on visa documents for center's new hires/extensions, as needed.
  • Onboards center's faculty and staff, as needed.
  • Monitors center's financial activities, as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with a team.
