This role is available to current employees within IT Services at the University of Leeds only.

Grade 9 (£53,353 – £61,823 p.a. depending on experience) 

This role will be based on the University of Leeds Campus with scope for hybrid working. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you a skilled and experienced IT Leader? Are you committed to delivering an effective and efficient service in a large and complex organisation? Do you have experience of delivering both customer service excellence and continuous service improvement in a changing landscape? 

You will be responsible for building out and leading our Service Management team (Process & Quality (ITIL functions Operations, and Service catalogue; Service Delivery; and our Supplier, Contract, Licensing and Asset team), enabling a culture of customer service excellence across your service area and more widely across IT. You will take a key role in the continued development of the service offering, enabling a culture of continuous service improvement and input into the implementation of the IT strategy. 

You will represent IT at a University level, and externally in both Higher Education and IT Sectors, collaborating with wide range of stakeholders to articulate targets and strategies to support the University's strategic plan. 

This is a key leadership role within the IT Service and is expected to work pro-actively with considerable autonomy, setting vision and engaging.
