EHR Trainer

 

Position Information: The EHR Trainer will instruct training programs for new and established team members through onsite training, remote assistance or webinar review, and provide onsite and remote support to new team members and established team members as indicated.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Review, evaluate, and test new software.
  • Implement approved process flows with team members.
  • Assist in the development of documentation to assist with the software training program.
  • Assists users to identify software and procedural requirements.
  • Assist analyst teams with new office onboarding, office workflow reviews and helpdesk processes as needed.
  • Maintain excellent customer service while working with physicians and team members.
  • Ensures that the software functions efficiently on a daily basis and remains in safe functioning condition.
  • Stays abreast of leading-edge information technology, communications and healthcare software applications.

Qualifications:

 

Working Conditions:

  • Standard Office Environment.

 

Education:

  • Required: Associate’s degree in information systems, business or technical field.

 

Experience:

  • Required: 3 years progressively responsible experience in information systems. Health care setting preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of electronic medical record processes, problem identification, medical data processing practice.
  • Skilled with critical thinking and the ability to solve critical problems, coordinate simultaneous efforts, recover from data loss, speed up development, and improve program efficiencies.
  • Ability to be oriented to end-user support needs across multiple sites.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and oral
